Design
The PhoNote has been designed to be as near universal as possible without the inclusion of sound destroying switches in the circuit path. For this reason it can be order either as a MM version or as an MC version, the latter uses high quality step up transformers fitted internally. These transformers can easily be retrofitted at any stage so the unit can evolve as your system does.
The final stage has a very low output impedance so it can drive any cable or amplifier without problem, and will also get the best performance out of a TVC (Transformer Volume Control) pre amplifier possible.
